In 2005, Annie and Craig Stoll annexed the space next door to their James Beard Award winning Delfina restaurant fulfilling a long time dream of bringing Neapolitan-inspired pizzas to San Francisco. The 600 square foot space was an instant neighborhood hotspot, and Pizzeria Delfina became the ""darling of the San Francisco food scene"" opening a second location in 2008 to popular demand. In 2014, Annie and Craig expanded into the Peninsula with Pizzeria Delfina in Palo Alto. This energetic, farmers-to-table restaurant serves up Neapolitan-inspired pizza complemented by a daily-changing roster of seasonal antipasti, piatti (small entrees), beer, wine and more. Established in 1959, owners Jenny Youll and Mike Sabina expanded the once small coffeehouse of St. Michaels Alley into this intimate dining establishment in 2009. The restaurant provides three comfortable spaces for a dinner out with friends, date night, or a complete private event. The main dining room is wood paneled and intimate. The front room / bar area is more casual and social, yet still offers tables with linens and the full menu. The solid wood bar is a favorite dining spot for many of the regulars and locals. A beautiful outdoor patio is most enjoyable on warm summer days and nights as it open to the sky.     Really enjoyed our experience. We got the pepperoni pie and the provolone with the spices was amazing. Wasn’t a huge fan of the saffron arancini but it was gooey and delicious just the same. Our server was amazing and the place looked cozy and busy.

    The warm greeting at the door was the beginning of impeccable service for the night. The food was excellent from appetizers to dessert with the lamb chops and Galaktoboureko as true standouts. It was a great way to celebrate our 39th anniversary!

    Our family enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner here. Thank you so much Jessica for being so accommodating to our adjustments and welcoming! Jennifer, our server, for table 33 was amazing! She was so attentive, friendly and truly brought the joy and warmth of Christmas to us all. The food was so tasty, from the meatballs, the crab cakes, the lamb chops and dry aged ribeye. The cheesecake was delicious as well. It was all cooked to perfection and presented very well. The bottle of Meiomi paired well with the meats. It was truly a great experience. Thank you so much Jennifer and everyone who contributed to our night. Merry Christmas!🎄🎁
