- NNataliePanama •8 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoSpectacular food, the place is beautiful and feels very luxurious and cozy. Great music selection. Favorite plates were the Mai Mai Tiradito and the Peruvian ceviche. Would be nice if they weren’t as intense about you picking a drink when you first arrive and sit down. Not all guests drink! Also would be nice to have our sparkling water at the table, as the waiter wasn’t always around when we wanted a refil. Besides the drinks approach, fantastic. We will return for sure.More infoMai MaiPrice: Expensive• Panamanian• Panama City•4.8
- SSebastíanMiami - Dade •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoKrume: Modern Vibes, Organic Soul Krume is a place where sleek, modern design meets food with a heart. The space feels polished and contemporary—think clean lines and minimalist elegance. But the moment the food hits your table, it’s clear that their focus is on letting the natural, organic quality of their ingredients shine. Take the French toast, for example. It’s a perfect balance of flavors: the tangy jam, the silky cashew cream, and that freshly baked sourdough. It’s not just breakfast; it’s a love letter to thoughtful cooking. The bread alone deserves its own spotlight—soft but structured, with just the right hint of sourness. Then there’s the egg and salmon toast. It’s not flashy or over-the-top, but it doesn’t need to be. The freshness of the ingredients speaks for itself. Every bite feels like a nod to simplicity done right, where every flavor has a purpose. Krume isn’t trying to be rustic or earthy in its design—it’s crisp, modern, and confident. But when it comes to the food, it’s all about authenticity, quality, and a deep respect for ingredients. If you’re looking for organic, nature-inspired flavors served in a stylish space, this is your spot.More infoKrume San FranciscoPrice: Moderate• Organic• Panama City•4.9
- SSebastíanMiami - Dade •3 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024So, I finally made it to La Tapa del Coco. I was expecting the kind of place that serves soul food with a little flair—and they definitely delivered on that. But… let’s be real, not everything was as fabulous as I’d hoped. First, the good stuff. The clams in curry? Holy moly. If I could marry a sauce, I’d put a ring on this one. It’s creamy, spicy, and just everything you want in life. And the codfish croquettes? Perfection. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with that berry sauce that’s got this magical balance of sweet and spicy. These dishes? Absolutely worth the trip. But then… the burger. Now, I know this burger’s got a reputation. It’s been crowned “the best” at some point, and I can see why—juicy, flavorful, and with that chicharrón making an appearance. It’s like a party in your mouth, but… it’s like the cool kid at the party who doesn’t talk to you much. It’s good, but it doesn’t make you want to shout from the rooftops. Here’s the deal: La Tapa del Coco has so much potential. The food’s got heart, the flavors are on point, and you can tell they’re passionate about their dishes. But for a place that’s ranked in the 100 Best in Latin America? Some of the hits are real home runs, and some are just… okay. If you’re in it for the vibe and a few unforgettable bites, you’ll be good. But if you’re looking for the full experience? Maybe leave the high expectations at the door.More infoLa Tapa Del CocoPrice: Moderate• Panamanian• Panama City•4.7
