- LLindaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •38 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe Brigantine La Mesa is a neighborhood gem that always delivers a nice dining experience, or a fun cocktail bar experience. They have indoor standard dining room with nautical touches, an outdoor patio with propane heaters, and an elevated bar. The servers are amazing, accomodating. If you are seeking a nice place for a lunch or dinner or Happy Hour, I highly recommend the Brigantine La Mesa.More infoBrigantine La MesaPrice: Moderate• Seafood• La Mesa•4.8

- AAshleySan Diego •7 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoMy husband and I went to Casa Gabriela with our toddler shortly after 6:00 on a Friday night, so it was fairly busy. We had a reservation and arrived 15 minutes early, thinking we would not find parking as quickly as we did, and they were able to sit us within five minutes. The staff were quick to take our orders and the food was out quickly, considering the quality. Speaking of the quality, everything was excellent. My husband raved about his quesadilla, and he is a hard man to impress. My picky eater of a child scarfed down most of a bean and cheese burrito, which was a sight to behold. I had the seafood enchiladas and they were delicious, although I was way too full of the equally good ceviche we had first to finish them. I have a wheat allergy and love that I can safely eat here. We will definitely be back!More infoCasa GabrielaPrice: Moderate• Mexican• La Mesa•4.6
- MMariaSan Diego •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoCame here after reading reviews from other diners. I can say this restaurants lives up to the 5 star hype. We had a large party of 7 to celebrate a birthday. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and had good recommendations from the menu. I do like they have a pretty robust seafood selection. Our table started off with mussels and clams and the crab cakes appetizers -- both were delicious. I have the Fisherman's Stew, which was excellent and very hearty. The portions are generous and I ended taking the other half home. I think this is a great place for a casual dinner where the food is still excellent without having to get all dressed up. There's also a large patio area and I can see that being lively during the summer. This is a solid place and I definitely recommend!More infoLemon Grove BistroPrice: Moderate• American• Lemon Grove•4.9
- MMatthiasSan Diego •5 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 30, 2024My wife and I had such a great evening at Giardino Neighborhood Cucina in Lemon Grove. The food was incredible – the Pappardelle Bolognese was rich and flavorful, the Tiramisu was perfect, and the wine selection really brought everything together. Roberto, our server, was amazing—so friendly and attentive. After dinner, we checked out Zest, the wine bistro right next door, owned by the same people as Giardino. Heather was working there and gave us great recommendations for wine, making it a perfect way to end the night. If you’re looking for delicious Italian food, awesome service, and a great spot to relax with a glass of wine, Giardino and Zest are a winning combo. We can’t wait to come back!More infoGiardino Neighborhood CucinaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Lemon Grove•4.7
