- RRaymondVIPGreater Boston •76 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWhat a great way to spend the Winter Solstice. It’s 20 degrees out and we’re at Pot au Feu having a piping hot bowl of the best Onion Soup you can find in New England. Wonderful melted gruyere cheese over a perfectly sized French bread crouton with onions and a tasty steaming broth. Of course, we had our usual Pot du Chocolat for desert with coffee. Our waitress Antigone guided us through a great meal with a bottle of nouveau Beaujolais.More infoPot au Feu BistroPrice: Expensive• French• Providence•4.8
- JJonathanSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoCelebrating mom's Birthday with the family. 13 of us total including 3 toddlers and 1 baby. Jason, our server was above and beyond professional and accommodating. From meal suggestions to photos of the birthday girl to serving the cake we brought and setting it up with candles and taking more photos with all of us to help capture the great memory. I was a server for many years and I was one of the best (tooting my own horn) and Jason was exactly what I would expect and he did not disappoint. Food was excellent, hot, served all together in a timely manner and kids loved it. Chardonnay's has been around for many years because they know how to do it. Never disappointed. The shrimp dish was a bit rich for my husband and did not have the same standout flavors that my dish had but the Waterman salad was excellent with a light dressing that added to the fresh greens. The service was attentive but not overwhelming.More infoWaterman GrillePrice: Moderate• American• Providence•4.7
- DDonnaVIPGreater Boston •8 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe tradition continues!!🎉🎉Every December Richard and I have our anniversary dinner at Capriccio’s. This year we are a little late but it was well worth the wait. As always the dining room is absolutely gorgeous as it is decorated to the nines. We arrived and were seated in a prime location -right by the fireplace. A phone call earlier in the day assured us that we wound be able to secure two orders of their baccala salad for our appertizers. Richard ordered a bottle of Moet Chandon Imperial Rose and the evening was off to a fine start. As we enjoyed our first course, our waiter began to prepare our entrees tableside. Fettuccine Alfredo and Steak Diane. Both were prepared perfectly and the presentation was show worthy. Richard had the special for the evening-Alaskan cod with mango salsa and black lentils. A piece of cheesecake and coffee finished the meal perfectly. It was an evening of serenity, fantastic food and drink and love. Pure magic🪄.More infoCapriccioPrice: Expensive• Italian• Providence•4.7
