- AannabelVIPNew York City •22 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe toured the upstairs that overlooks the ocean, and includes a cozy wood fireplace lounge with lounge furniture that was awesome. We were immediately introduced to our waiter, Lilly, who was a delight to talk to the entire meal. We knew what we wanted to order, but she was quick to say each time that we were 'spot on'. We chose the chocolate mousse cake with whipped cream (delish), but she did mention that the key lime pie was one of her favorites too. My husband had the mussels appetizer and fish and chips...The mussels were excellent and the fish and chips was homemade with a big chunk of fresh cod and one of the best versions he has ever had....including the cole slaw. I had the Caesar salad (very, good and nice portion) and the chicken francaise ---- which was spectacular. Homemade noodles, a rich in flavor lemon sauce with capers, and three pieces of perfectly cooked and flavorful chicken. SOOOO good. Oh, and the specialty drinks were delicious, especially their signature old fashion. I don't know why it's taken us so long to have dinner at the Drifthouse, but we will surely be back soon. We took advantage of the Jerseyshoreweek pricing, but the normal prices there are definitely in line with all the other restaurants around.More infoDRIFTHOUSE by David BurkePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Sea Bright•4.7
