Best Cozy Restaurants in Earth City

We had an excellent dinner at The Main House. It was a snowy evening but it was still relatively busy. We were seated promptly in the booth we requested, and greeted warmly by our server. We started with a couple of Old Fashions and they were very good. Wedge Salad was excellent and big enough to share. My wife had a filet and I had the beef tenderloin. Both were excellent! Buehler Cabernet paired well and was a good choice. The Chef/Owner stopped by to make sure all was well which we always appreciate. Jordan did a great job as our server! Indoor space is beautiful and very well done. Look forward to returning soon!

Initially I was reluctant to go here since it is a hotel restaurant but the weather was not good so we went. Good choice! My wife got the burrata caprese salad and I had mushroom and black truffle soup. The caprese was delicate and the soup was rich and perfectly prepared. For main courses my wife had la classics lasagna napoletana, which was firm and deeply meaty, quite delicious. I had the tagliatelle don Alfronso, which was to die for. The sauce with their home grown tomatoes was exquisitely sweet and the home made pasta perfect. I’m of Italian ancestry and have been eating Italian food my whole life and I cannot recall something this delicious, even when we’ve been in Sorrento. The service was attentive and helpful and the owner interested in our thoughts. Highly recommended.

Always a god meal at this go to restaurant. Crowd was a light tonight because of the snow storm but service and food quality were spot on.

My two sisters and I went there last night for a holiday dinner, and it was fabulous. Our waitress I believe her name was Heather, was such a sweet energetic girl and gave us a lot of great suggestions for food and drinks! We had a blast and it wasn’t busy at 5:30/6 on a Thursday but the ambience and music was great! Love the restaurant and will eat there again soon!

My husband and I have been to Spiro’s many times and it’s always a wonderful dining experience and an enjoyable way to spend the evening. My brother and sister who are both visiting from out of town we equally pleased. Deanna, our server was great as always. Love this place!
