When I opened my doors in July of 2009, I committed to serving the freshest Italian dishes made from local and seasonal ingredients. I learned early the heart of Italian cooking is the flavor…or sapore. My school of teaching was from the best; my Nonna Elena and Mother Lia. Their philosophy has been carried on in my style of cooking: use simple ingredients and the food will speak for its self.     It was our 35th anniversary we celebrated it with our grandaughter also, she is 20 & loved it as much as we did. Staff was wonderful, friendly & helped us celebrate with a cake with a special sparkler in it which was amazing. Food was delicious & each item came out & the perfect time, no rushing dinner. Restaurant was decorated for the Xmas holiday & was beautiful. Thank you Sam’s Steakhouse for a amazing evening!

    All the servers there are outstanding but Kathy shines! We love this place! The best steaks ever! You gotta get the ribeye. Medium rare only. Great place for special occasions or for just wanting a great meal. Make a reservation today!

    Girls night, we had a great night. Very nice atmosphere. Drinks excellent. We just shared a cheese platter was good. Server was excellent and did not feel rushed. We sat and chatted for a long while. I would definitely go back and highly recommend.

    It is a thrill to walk in and see their fabulous bakery cases. You can't forget what you just saw and it is on your mind as you order from Russell's interesting menu. Food was great, waiter was great and the carrot cake, claimed to be the best in St. Louis (correct) and an expresso chocolate cake where a wonderful end to the meal.
