Best Cozy Restaurants in Sunrise

Great dining on a busy Friday night/Valentine’s evening but with reservations from opentable we had no wait and were seated immediately. Although very loud, it’s lively and service great. Waitress was very nice and drinks delicious, bartender that night was a point. Food very well prepared just as we requested and came out relatively quick for such a busy night. Noise level definitely up n up and smoke smell not my preference but less obviously noticeable any the dining areas. Price well over priced but meal portions were big. Drinks very nicely served.

The Cook and the Cork is a huge hit for us. We went on Valentines Day to try out this place and find out what all the rave was about. They did not disappoint. Walking in, you are immediately greeted by the hostess and seated. We were given a charming table with a booth back which was super comfortable. Our server, Chris, came over, greeted us for Valentine’s Day, and asked if we had been there previously. We hadn’t so he gave us an extra welcome and asked if we wanted drinks to start. They had a Pistachio Espresso Martini on the menu which was right up my alley and the hubs had a daiquiri which he loved. The drinks came out and they were perfectly made and a great start to the evening. They had a special Valentine’s menu along with some of their regular items so there was quite a selection. We ordered the blue crab and avocado salad appetizer to start. This was on the special menu but they should definitely put it on as a regular item bc it was absolutely amazing. Blue card, avocado, greens and a delicious creamy balsamic that I find myself craving more of as I write this. I would have licked the plate clean had it been proper to do so. 😜 Next, came the main courses. I really wanted a surf and turf. They had filer on the menu and they had lobster tail on the menu but no combo. Well, here came Chris to the rescue. He had a chat with the chef and low and behold, a surf and turf dish was created. There was, of course, an up charge, and it was extremely reasonable for the amount of food, the quality of the food, and the freshness of the food. The lobster was a half pound tail and was cooked to perfection and served with a side of melted butter. The filet was topped with a reduced red wine mushroom sauce that really enhanced the filet without taking away the actual taste of the steak. Perfectly balanced. The hubs had the famous Korean Fried Chicken. Oh my stars!! Don’t walk, run fast to get this dish. It was the best fried chicken ever. Bottom line - 5 stars

I had an incredible experience at RA Sushi. The Valentine's menu was absolutely amazing, with a variety of delicious options that made the evening unforgettable. Our server, Brian, was fantastic, guiding us through the menu and recommending some really great drinks that perfectly complemented our meal. The onion soup and salad were outstanding, and the coconut crème brûlée for dessert was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Highly recommend this place for a special occasion or just a great night out!

My second time here. The first time we sat at the bar and each had a bowl and were offered the most delicious sauces. Both bowl were amazing with the sauces. Took my family back and overall, still good. Our server was very nice but I wish offered the sauces to us. The food wasn’t as good as the first time but I think it’s because we weren’t offered the sauces. I wish I remembered to ask for them. Overall, everything was good and I would definitely go back again. Only complaint is the music was extremely loud and we couldn’t hear each other. I love music at a restaurant, but not too loud where you can’t have a discussion.
