Best Cozy Restaurants in The Village

The service was impeccable and we never felt rushed. The ravioli with light cream sauce was outstanding as well as the New Brunswick oysters served with shaved horseradish. The drinks were equally outstanding. This restaurant has tremendous attention to detail.

What a treat to open the door off busy Carleton near Yonge, pass through a cute coffee shop and enter the amazing Le alert. Staff was so friendly, food delicious and ambience very upbeat. We’ll be back! A real treat.

Innovative food with impeccable service. Definitively a destination to come back over and over. The steaks are yummy and perfect for sharing. We had the ribeye which was juicy and perfectly done. The mushroom blintz is unique and a wonderful compliment. The fluke and fennel is also a bit familiar while also different. We wanted to try everything on the menu. The cocktails are all complimentary and a star on their own. We'll be back.

This is the first time my husband and I did an 8 course tasting. With incredibly knowledgable staff, mind blowing and complex food, this was a night to remember. When a taste can bring you back to your childhood (much like what happened in Ratatouille), it’s nothing I had ever experienced anywhere else. Even as a non vegetarian, I did not miss the absence of meat. A must “go-to”.
