Literally one of the best meals of my life. this was an experience I will be talking about for years to come

We really enjoyed our meal (lunch set 1) served in a lovely 2 tier bento box that came with soup, various vegetables in different preparations, along with really tasty rice. The meal was served without explanation of what everything was, but we still enjoyed the experience and food.

Very pleasant Japanese cuisine. The chef dedicates himself with heart and creativity. The wine list could be more extensive.

Very strange that I’m coming to Tokyo to enjoy American steak but Empire is a quick walk from my Roppongi hotel and the service here is top notch fantastic. It’s also friendly for solo diners and many of the salads and sides can be ordered half-size. They also carry my favorite Napa Merlot by Duckhorn. Head waiter Ito-san is about as professional and old-school as you can find anywhere these days …….all I can say is that Empire is worth the visit and cost because sometimes, no matter where you are, that craving for a juicy, rare, grass-fed USDA prime cut of beef must be fulfilled, with extreme perfection!!
