- LLizVIPNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIt was our first time going to Hudson Valley Steakhouse. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the service was impeccable. The wait staff all worked together to make sure our dining experience was perfect. The food was incredible. We stated with the 2 Hudson Valley Salads for 6 people. Delish. We also ordered 2 Porterhouse Steaks along with Mashed potatoes, Hudson Valley Potatoes and Creamed spinach. Big portions. We were all full. The owner was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. Oh... the martinis were amazing too. Will definitely return.More infoHudson Valley SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Yorktown Heights•4.9

- JjaneNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024We had a lovely lunch at the Thayer. The fried chicken was expertly seasoned and the best I've had. Crunchy where it should be and juicy and tender inside. The Cole slaw was just right. Great snap to the fries. The other dish was the Chicken Salad club. Hit every mark and totally enjoyed it. We also ordered the soup of the day and the only mishap was it was brought out not piping hot. A quick word to the waiter and the soup was retuned and the temperature was corrected. In fairness, most restaurants never serve piping hot soup, which they should. We had a view of the Hudson and the ambiance of the hotel and restaurant is old world elegance. The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. We will definitely go back. It would be a fabulous place to watch the autumn colors. Next time.More infoMacArthur's Restaurant at The Historic Thayer HotelPrice: Very Expensive• American• West Point•3.7
