Best Restaurants for Creative Cuisine in Park Ridge

Three of us dined for my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed sharing 5 of the small plates (which are not small!), each of which was exquisite, unique and delicious.

I thought this restaurant was great - a nice addition for healthy clean food. However, the menu was confusing - there were items that were clearly not vegan such as prime rib but there was no explanation of what the item actually contained. When we asked the server, she seemed somewhat indignant that we did not know that the tuna special was actually tomatoes.

Loved the egg rolls and the fried rice. Tasty chicken curry. They made my wife a virgin mango mojito and she loved it so much she got a second one.

Wonderful experience! First time at Francesca but we will definitely be back! We started out with the CARPACCIO CON AVOCADO, along with their fresh bread - fantastic! My husband ordered ROLLI ALLA FRANCESCA, which he was very happy with. I ordered AGNOLOTTI QUATTRO FORMAGGI, delicious little pasta pillows with wild mushrooms & brown butter sauce. Well balanced, and delicious! We went for the classic tiramisu, the best I’ve ever had! We also ordered the Sticky Toffee Carrot Cake. My husband orders carrot cake wherever we go & he said this was definitely in his top 3. The coffee was simple, classic and delicious. Along with solid service, the manager came over to introduce himself & check on us. Chefs kiss to this entire dining experience!

Both our appetizer, a shrimp dish, and our main course, chicken thighs, were delicious and the service provided by Alex added to the pleasure of our evening.
