When visiting the restaurant, patrons descend 18 feet underground in a canopied glass elevator, accessed from street level, for a culinary experience unlike any other. The American Steakhouse offers an expansive 1,800 square foot subterranean courtyard allowing patrons to dine al fresco and enjoy a New Orleans-inspired exterior space. I arrived late for my reservation but, was still accommodated. The music was not so loud that you could not have a conversation. Our server David was great. The overall customer service was a 10/10. The food was soooo delicious. I ordered catfish, lobster Mac n cheese & okra. My friend ordered greens & they were really good. I’m new to Dallas & will definitely bring every visitor here.
