I would have given 5 stars for the food but the oysters were not shucked properly. Service was great!More infoSTK- San DiegoPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.3
- PPaulNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOn a Saturday night at Lumi, our table was located on the rooftop near the kitchen. It was a nice location for our group of five. The ambience was lively and fun. There was a dj and a good number of people present. The noise level was fairly loud though not too loud preventing us from having a conversation We took the suggestion of our waitress and started with a couple of cold plate dishes. We had the Akira Back Pizza and Bluefin Tuna Tatiki. The pizza was very tasty, though be aware there were jalapeño pieces on them (easy enough to flick them off if anyone didn’t want the spice). The tatiki was fine though our group felt the slices were very thin and a bit small. We then tried the Rock Shrimp Tempura and Cauliflower Tempura. Both were delicious and were plenty for our group to share. Finally, we had four signature rolls. We tried the Lumi, Sea Bass Serrano, Godzilla, and Puff Salmon. We enjoyed all four. The Sea Bass Serrano was our favorite. Though they really were all well made and had plenty of flavor. The service was very good. The food came out timely. Our waitress, Bailey was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Great time!More infoLumiPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Downtown•4.6

- AAlessandrovipLos Angeles •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis place is what gaslamp quarter in San Diego needs Great vibe, ambiance, colors, and amazing design that makes you feel like you are in Singapore or somewhere exotic. The Yellowtail scallions and the Tai Miso snapper were so so good and perfectly balanced. The Potstickers so delicious to start. Wagyu drunken noodles perfectly seasoned. We had the filet mignon with a special seafood sauce that melted in my mouth. The miso black cod was light and flavorful. We saw some sushi rolls being served at tables nearby but we were so full and will definitely try the place another time to experience those dishes. Server was very knowledgeable even for a place that is so new. We finished the meal with the red velvet chocolate lava cake, absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family and anyone visiting San Diego. On weekends they have a dj playing till late at night that will for sure add a great vibe, we will definitely be back.More infoAKA San DiegoPrice: Expensive• Asian• Downtown•3.4
