Best Date Night Restaurants in Laguna Hills / Lake Forest / Foothill Ranch

Fantastic evening at Ironwood as usual. Fried green tomatoes were snappy and luscious with the burrata, frisée and pickled onions. Mains were the filet special with blue cheese mashies and chicken schnitzel (never a wrong choice). Tart starter drink with the Ginbo and finished with the Lion Tamer Cab. Enclosed patio heaters going full force, cozy on the patio and fantastic service Ironwood is always on our list - put it on yours.

My husband always takes me to Kings for my birthday dinner (as well as other times) because we love the freshness of the fish and the great service. My favorite is scallops so I almost always order those. They were superb, of course!

My wife and I came here for a date night, and had never been. Our server was Adam and we asked him to just make choices for us and bring food. It was all incredible! Service was fantastic. Food was wonderful. It was a little loud so if you’re looking for a quiet place, this is not it, but everything else is wonderful. Definitely coming back. 

Overall it’s a great value. The service,food, and ambiance justify the price of the food. I feel like that’s rare these days. The restaurant is beautiful. staff is on it and super nice. I wish I could Remeber our servers name so I could shout him out but I came on 12/27 7:30 and sat in a red booth. Maybe I’m weird but I love a nice restroom at a restaurant. This one is very clean and pretty. The thick napkin hand towels are luxe. Food came out fast. The after dinner coffees were amazing. The same price as a boutique coffee shop but actually good! My one critique- Although I enjoyed the playlist, I’m not a fan of loud music in an intimate setting. The base was extreme and felt like it was rattling the table.

Overall, the food was really delicious and our server was really nice. The variety of food options was also pretty impressive. We really enjoyed our experience.
