Theo & Sebastian who are brothers, started Smiths in the middle of a pandemic! We are seriously passionate about patties and are based in Bourton-On-The-water, also known as ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’. Our restaurant sits circa 30 guests making it a small, exclusive place to come and eat. Since opening, we have made it our mission to get our hands on the best possible ingredients. We also use dry aged beef with a great fat content supplied by Aubrey Allen, which marries up with our strong, unique flavour combinations giving you the ultimate bite! We cant forget about or delightful buns, which are handmade daily by a wonderful local baker. All the flour used for our buns is made up of Cotswold flour sourced from local farmers.     Wow we were so impressed. Every thing about our service and food was 10/10. We arrived early and were happy to grab a drink or 2 at the bar but our table was ready. Therefore we ate before planned and wow. We searched and searched for a lovely roast in Bath and I’m so glad we came across this place. The beef, roasties, sides, service.. nothing could have been better. Highly recommend to anyone looking to book!

    We had a fabulous dinner at The White Hart. We were hosting friends visiting from Australia and they were impressed by the high quality of the food and the atmosphere. The service was also excellent. Our only minor complaint would be the high volume conversations (at times bordering on shouting) on the adjacent table which made conversation at our table difficult on occasion. But despite this our dinner was at the very top end for a village pub.

    The Swan is a lovely setting. The Sunday lunch was really, really tasty, though it could have been warmer. Service got slower as the meal went on and we felt a bit chilly at times. BUT we have booked again for a few weeks time and the staff member has made a note that we’d like a warmer table (our eldest guest is 86!)
