Best Dog Friendly Restaurants in Avondale Heights

This is one of the best restaurants north of the Yarra River. The food is all class. The Barramundi was as good as I have had anywhere. A lovely local treat! Went with a friend for a drink, stayed for a few and a tasty antipasti board. Seats in the forecourt if you don't mind being near cars as they pop by to pick up their bottle shop supplies (it's quiet and great people watching), plus tables inside amongst their great selection of wines. Staff were friendly and efficient without being intrusive. Very kindly saw the sunset was right in my eyes, so moved the big umbrellas o I could stop squinting without being asked. So yummy. Steak cook to perfection, great portion of ships, love the Bearnaise sauce and the rocket salad is a plus. We usually sit at the bar. Lately found lot of loud chit chat behind the bar not related to servicing customers, which add more noise to the overall. Other than that. Great selection of wine by the glass.

Beautiful staff, meals, coffee and atmosphere in this well run cafe.

Been a few times and each visit we’ve enjoyed great local service from staff, yummy drinks and nice nibbles. This time we were seated in the footpath parklet dining area which was fab! Will be back again.
