Best Family Style Restaurants in Bayville

I was recommended by my boss to try this restaurant. So I took my wife to try it out. The drive was 50 minutes away from where we live, but we like to try new things together . Finding parking was hard but we managed and took a minute walk . When we finally made it I can say we were both surprised once inside. The host was right there to invite us in the lady was nice and opened the door for us are table was ready for us , the live jazz band was amazing good vibes all around . The waiter was was amazing always making sure we was taken care of with everything , the menu wasn’t overwhelming its was simple amazing dishes I had the crab cakes my wife went with the corn street salad , I for what she had for the main course but I got myself the filet mignon and WOW ! My hat off to the chef with everything and the bartender as well my wife and I don’t drink . But we asked the waiter if they could surprise us with a nonalcoholic cocktail and they didn’t disappoint. But to end the night the dessert was delicious I recommend the apple crumble . And I believe the owner or maybe manager came and introduced himself to us and because it was our first time there he offered us a glass of champagne on the house , we had to kindly say no because we don't drink but just the thought alone was thoughtful. I have nothing negative to say about this amazing place we will definitely be back . Keep up the great job everyone !

I love Ivy! It’s officially my go to spot for a night out. Awesome music, great drinks, yummy food, and the service is top notch! It’s a whole vibe. Definitely recommend!!

Matteo’s never disappoints… whether a casual dinner out or a special occasion like Christmas Eve tonight it excels. Our server Anthony was attentive, but gave us time to converse and enjoy our meal. Can’t wait to go back. Merry Christmas!!

Stellina is not your typical crowded Long Island Italian eatery where people go to be seen. Instead, it's like a café in Italy. The ambiance is wonderful, and the staff is easy to talk to and incredibly accommodating, taking care of special requests without hesitation. The food is fantastic—from the salads and wood-fired oven pizzas to the homemade pastas, Zuppe di Pesce, and lasagna. Stellina is worth the drive to Oyster Bay and is a standout.
