Best Family Style Restaurants in Downtown

Our server, Summer I believe, was great. The hosts were friendly. It was a very cute place and my drinks was delightful. My only hesitancy about returning for more than drinks was the food. We just split a couple appetizers so I definitely didn’t experience much of the menu but was not overly impressed with the chicken chili dumplings as they were cold and the brisket egg rolls were fine. The portions were just incredibly small for the cost. I understand food costs increasing as well as the area but $21 for 3 dumplings and an egg roll seems a bit steep.

Pharm Table is our favorite place to dine when visiting San Antonio. It is rare to find a restaurant that cares so deeply about the sourcing of their food and drinks, and the presentation and taste of everything we’ve tried there has been outstanding. The service is fantastic as well. Finally, we appreciated meeting the owner who checked in with us several times to make sure all was well. Highly recommend!

Our Valentines dinner was perfect in every regard! Francisco our server was attentive, the food was delicious and the ambiance ( fireside) was exquisite. They even provided the ladies with a rose. After dinner a rousing Mexican band was playing. Couldn’t have put together a better evening!

The food was amazing! I wish the pasta portions were bigger for what you pay for, but it was so good that I got over it pretty quickly. The ambience was luxurious and it’s on a quieter part of the riverwalk which made for a calm and peaceful dining experience.

Beautiful view of the river and nice live country music at the Saturday night live fire dinner show. Food just kept coming out😊 and everything was delivered hot and fresh including the corn, macaroni and potatoes and even chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert. I had the steak 🥩 and it was cooked perfectly as i ordered it. My girl had the red snapper with mango salsa and she loved it
