Best Family Style Restaurants in Fairfax

Our dining was fabulous ! Our server, Wilma C. , and the table staff was magnificent and deserves all the credit for our wonderful meal experience. Our dinner has always been delicious and was greatly enhanced by Ms. Wilma C. with her enjoyable table side manner and attentiveness to our needs. I disovered Trummers quite by accident when I looking for Truffle Fries for my son. We found Trummers, and the fries and their chicken were outstanding. That's when I knew I had to bring my wife here for Valentine's Day. And Trummers did not disappoint! That meal was the best we've had since moving to Virginia. If you are having trouble finding great food, service, and atmosphere, I can't rave about Trummers enough.

The food at this place was good, but the service was awful. It was not the servers fault, they were clearly understaffed. One couple even got tired of waiting and left before their order was taken. You’d think they would‘ve made more of an effort on Valentine’s Day.

We sat at the bar and were able to take advantage of the happy hour specials on drinks and appetizers, which was nice because the menu is quite pricey. Even sitting at the bar, the service was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and friendly. The food tasted great and the portions were generous. Only complaint was the coconut curry risotto was a little sweet for my taste. Overall a very pleasant dining experience.

Awesome experience at lunch today! Food was fresh, tasted great and they worked with my dietary constraints. Server Dominick was outstanding. Room music was pleasant but not so loud as to drown out conversations. The only thing I'd suggest if they would please calculate the carbs in each, (or a few) of the selections, it'd make it easier for diabetics to eat there.
