Best Family Style Restaurants in Rancho Mirage

This is the second time we have gone to Rockwood Grill. First time was Father’s Day and now for Thanksgiving. We sat on the patio this time with beautiful views. Service was wonderful and an abundance of yummy food. The had a separate room just for desserts. The only problem we had was a disagreement on the bill. I had $75 for adults and $28 for children. Our bill came and we were charged $150 per adult and 50 for child. I luckily had a picture of the menu with the price and asked my server about it. I don’t know why it was advertised on Facebook this way? Anyway, they charged me $75 per our two adults and I appreciated it. I definitely wouldn’t have made reservations for that price. I would go back again but would make sure I called ahead and got clarification on prices.

Fantastic meal. Definitely get the yellowtail w/ jalapeños

The food was very good.; highly recommend the chicharrones. The service staff seemed to have been short-handed. Our server kept waiting on the drinks; not sure what was happening at the bar. Overall this was a 2 and a half hour meal that could have been better managed/handled.

The service was OUTSTANDING. The ambiance was delightful. The food, however, wasn't great. The options sounded better than they tasted. It's definitely a restaurant to return when we want to dine out and bring the dog. Otherwise, I would eat elsewhere.

Really enjoyed the meal and the space. Service was excellent!
