Started with cocktails from the holiday menu - a mescal & a bourbon drink. Yummy. Raw & charcuterie bar was next. The stone crabs were a bit hard to manage because we didn't have crackers or lobster forks, but we made it work. Appetizers consisted of seared scallop (minus bacon) & lobster bisque, both of which were done to perfection. Entree was turbot, which was also cooked to perfection & the accompanying clams were the highlight for me. Dessert was ok, but the weakness of the meal - I had sorbet & my friend had Mont Blanc, which was definitely different than the usual format. I did like the addition of coffee ice cream on it - definitely the highlight of the dessert. Staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. Our server, Daniel, was extra attentive, but everyone chipped in to assist. Would definitely go back for a special occasion! Thank you for making Christmas a unique experience!More infoThe PembrokePrice: Expensive• Global, International• Dupont Circle•4.5
- PPaulWashington, D.C. Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe restaurant, bar and lounge areas spread out across multiple rooms / terraces / levels so it is a really intimate and fun layout. Excellent service and value. Price for classic drinks skewed a tad high in my opinion. I'll try and catch a happy hour sometime and the jazz performances.More infoTabard InnPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Dupont Circle•4.7
- JJudithVIPWashington, D.C. Area •40 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Succotash. We had a nice table in a corner and the service was exceptional. Our server was very attentive, polite and professional. He made sure that the food flowed at an appropriate pace and that our water glasses were always topped off, and the table was kept clean. The food was delicious! I had a salad, catch of the day and hummingbird cake all of which was fantastic. My husband had corn bread and shrimp and grits, which he also thoroughly enjoyed. .More infoSuccotash PRIMEPrice: Moderate• American• Penn Quarter•4.6
