Damian, our waiter, was so knowledgeable about the menu and was very attentive. The food was incredible and worth every penny. - JJoeCleveland / Akron / Canton •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoProfessional restauranters are running this restaurant. This is old school service. Front end staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. Managers are attentive. Bartender is a pro. Our apps (we had 4 I'm embarrassed to admit) were excellent. The crab app and the mushroom gnocchi app (available in bar) were outstanding. My entre (grouper) was very salty but I will give that a pass because everything else was excellent. If you are seeking an old school fine dining experience with knowledgeable and personable wait staff in Cleveland, it is basically down to Johnny's on Fulton and Blue Point. I put this place on a level with several first rate restaurants in Manhattan and Washington D.C.More infoBlue Point GrillePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Downtown Cleveland•4.7
- MMikevipCleveland / Akron / Canton •157 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024I do not know why we waited so long to go to the Velvet Tango Room! The ambiance is classic and cozy. The small plates are not that small and they were delicious. We had the Smoked Salmon Platter and the Charcuterie Board - excellent. Jaxs was our mixologist and the Chartreuse drinks were excellent as well as the other drinks that were carefully and artistically created. We look forward to our next visit and we will not wait this long next time!More infoVelvet Tango RoomPrice: Expensive• Cocktail Bar• Tremont•4.7
- KKarenCleveland / Akron / Canton •15 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024Our visit to The Centro in Cleveland was nothing short of delightful! From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the warm and glowing atmosphere and the kindness of the hosting staff. The venue is beautifully designed, integrating the past of the Cleveland Trust and the stylish decor of the present. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all of our needs were met. They even gave us a personalized menu to acknowledge us celebrating our anniversary! The menu at The Centro is impressive and made with local ingredients. We enjoyed the crispy polenta cubes appetizer. We both ordered from the house specialty section of the menu. My husband ordered the braised short ribs and I ordered the chicken parmesan with homemade pasta. Every bite was a testament to the culinary skills of the team. The drink menu was equally impressive, showcasing a variety of inventive cocktails, wine, and beer. My husband ordered a spicy concoction that was on their drink special list and I had the Black Manhattan made with Basil Hayden dark rye whiskey. I wish we had saved room for dessert because the selection was delectable!More infoThe Centro- ClevelandPrice: Very Expensive• European• Downtown Cleveland•4.4
