We sat at the counter and really enjoyed chatting with the chef throughout our meal. It felt like we were hanging out at his house, eating at the kitchen island while he cooked. The chef recommended the camote asado, callo de hacha al horno, enmoladas de pollo, and the taco de suadero. Our favorite bites were the enmoladas de pollo and the taco de suadero. The tortillas and sauces are so good! We also had the birria de borrego which was really good but not quite worth the price compared to the other dishes we enjoyed.

Our meal was fantastic however, after the waitress spilled the melted butter for our lobster tail, no manager came over to check on us or offer a discount. Now my daughter's shirt is stained. Poor management in my opinion.

Love this place. Consistent and great for older folks. Mom adores it. Wish I’d watched dore this house 35 years ago when I was a kid!!! Kudos to the Wheat Ridge mayor for a select restoration.
