Best Fine Dining Restaurants in New Town

The food was great the haggis bonbons are a must . I had sea trout and it was wonderful . My friends had sirloin and ribeye steak and both said it was the best they have had. Don’t be fooled with the small plates , we all have healthy appetites but after sharing the small plates to start and then the larger main plates it was an early night for us. The service was helpful and friendly and we even had a birthday candle when I let them know it was my friends birthday . Many thanks and well done to the whole team, I will definitely return next time I visit your beautiful city.

This is probably my favourite steak restaurant in Edinburgh due to the fine dining aspect and amazing quality of food. Absolutely stunning meal although I do have a couple of downsides unfortunately this time round! We were sited next to a group with a dog that kept barking, I was more shocked dogs were allowed in under the tables for hygiene, and other guests courtesy. It did ruin the ambience of treating your self’s to a high class experience.. when we came in we usually are greeted upstairs but we stood waiting for a while and travelled downstairs were no one host seemed to be as well. The lovely polish lady serving us was extremely warm and welcoming which was a good touch.

We booked in the morning we arrived in Edinburgh. We actually got engaged a couple of hours before food. Upon arrival the waitress was chatting to my finance and they got talking about the proposal. We were tested to a glass of fizz as we were seated and then talked through the menu which was amazing. Food was unbelievable and the service amazing. We had our 1 year old with us and they were great with him and we would recommend to go.

It was Amazing, we went there for my partners birthday 19th December. We booked for 7pm but was very cold so headed there earlier and got a very warm welcome by the floor manager serena she was very welcoming and the service was outstanding, very lovely to chat to. We had artichokes heart for starters and I had gnocchi for my main and Mike had carbonara we tried a bit of each others and was food heaven. I had pistachio cheesecake and there was candle put in there for mikes birthday 🎂 as requested was Amazing evening. Will definitely be going back, even if you are not vegan you will love it. This place is a little gem and a must to eat at. Thanks to Novapizza for making our experience Amazing. Love Claire and Mike
