Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Kapalua

May legitimately be the best meal I’ve ever had! All dishes were delicious and staff were lovely. The owner/head chef made himself very available to check on patrons, see if we had any questions, and to just chat a bit. We are definitely going back next time we’re in Maui!

Sansei is where we come the first evening of our visits to Maui! Like always, we are very impressed by the food and the service! We would like to give a special shout out to Chris S. for his amazing service and attention!!! We look forward to each visit! :)

Fresh made cocktails, beautiful ambiance. Food was delicious. They had a great vegetarian menu that’s not listed online. Great service.

We had a fabulous time and the food was fantastic! Our waiter Tad was knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. The beet salad is delicious! We had the special fish which was moist, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. It was a preparation I wouldn’t normally choose, but I’m trying to eat healthier and normally lentils with vegetables wouldn’t be my “go to”, but this was so flavorful and satisfying. We also had the ribeye special with the herbed butter. Again, a dish cooked perfectly with wonderful flavors. The mashed potatoes were the best I have ever enjoyed! Noah, checked in on us and our meal and was quite engaging and very fun. We enjoyed our meal and the beautiful ambiance of Traverna. It’s not to be missed when on Maui and we will be back soon! Thank you!
