No wonder the food is so good because that's one peaceful, harmonious and efficient kitchen. The service stands out at L'Orange for enthusiasm and personal attention. Our server, Erica, was so lovely and that last time I was there I also had an amazing server. We ordered the mushroom broth-based French onion soup, which was my daughter's favorite due to the garlic bread pudding - custardy texture against the crispiness of the cheese - and the intricate, delicious flavors. I had (for the second time) gnocchi which does not fail to delight due to the pillowy texture and layers of sauces and flavors. Dessert must include the orange cake because the flavor of natural orange is strong and pleasant. Again with the textures: burnt sugar crust, moist cake, cardamon icing and orange gelee. So many flavors to mix and match on the fork. We also had the white chocolate mousse with layers of cake and cranberry. So good. We'll be back for the service, the food and the sweet ambiance.More infoL'OrangePrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Southeast Portland•4.9

We were there for the Feast of Seven Fishes menu, got a cocktail to start and did the 1/2 pour wine pairing. They batch their cocktails and it's the best Nigroni I've ever had. The menu was filled with familiar seafood dishes prepared in unique ways. Everything was perfect all around. It's rare to find a place that feels as special as Don's. It's our favorite restaurant in Portland, maybe anywhere.More infoDon's Favorite FoodsPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Beaverton•5
- LLindyPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had reservations, there was very little wait time for our table. Wait staff was very friendly and inviting, they interacted with us in very engaging and cheerful manner, and when asked recommendation, or staff favorites, they openly gave wonderful choices to consider. Our table ordered wine, roasted brussel sprouts for an appetizer. Then there was prime rib and petrale for the main en’tre- all of which were delicious. Portions were more the Aiden’s. We left filled and happy! Thank you!More infoOswego Grill - Kruse WayPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Lake Oswego•4.7

- JJeanPortland / Oregon •21 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe table we requested was already booked and we were disappointed not to get the one we asked for. However, they put us at a wonderful booth and it was very quiet and we had a lovely time. The food was fabulous as usual and the service was great. Our server was helpful, kind but not TOO attentive.More infoStockpot BroilerPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Beaverton•4.8
