Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Millbrae

Owner Hamdi is the best host in the business. Warm greetings with frequent check in on how the meal is going. The food is spectacular. From the Beef Carpaccio to the Wedge Salad to the Lamb chops and Pasta entre, everything was perfect. THEN to top it off crepes' suzette with ice cream prepared at our table. The wait staff was wonderful. The price very reasonable for such great quality food. A place to spend a special occasion, dinner after work, and any other reason you want. Located in central San Mateo it is walking distance from the center of town. A must go to for everyone.

I took my wife out for her birthday at ChouChou. I’ve been wanting to dine there for a while now and finally got the opportunity. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Our server (Nida) was super friendly and very helpful. She recommended a few of her favorite dishes. We ordered the Prix Fixe dinner (starter, entree and dessert). The food was served hot and was delicious. We sat out in the patio on a very cold night, but the patio was relatively warm. My wife received a small complimentary dessert for her birthday. Our overall experience was very good.

Great restaurant., never disappoints. From their appetizers to main dishes to desserts, they are on point. Crab cakes, fried calamari: delicious. skirt steak, salmon and other dishes., a must . GREAT SERVICE!!

Parking is an issue. This is a “neighborhood” spot off of a busy Rl Camino Blvd in Millbrae. Food was ok not great. Very noisy and bustling if that’s your thing. Service was very good. Great pours of wine by the glass( equivalent of 2 normal glasses)

The variety on the menu is amazing which allowed us to have a wonderful dinner that entertained our tastebuds. Would definitely recommend to others. Local neighborhood gem.
