The food is divine, the menu has many favourites along with new items and the service is always amazing. (Merci Alexander!) My only wish is to have vegetables served with my meal. I had the tenderloin in a gorgeous peppercorn sauce. Next time maybe I need to read the menu better to see if we should have ordered sides. It came with pommes frites but I wishes it had some vegetables. I also enjoyed the mushroom soup to start and my husband had the endive salad which looked impressive and the special Beef Wellington served with asparagus. For dessert we had profiteroles with generous chocolate sauce. 5 star experience! Merci beaucoupMore infoLe CrocodilePrice: Very Expensive• French• Downtown•4.7
- OTOpenTable DinerToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoAnika was the best server I have ever had. I’d rather never go to another restaurant again than be served by anyone else. She is a queen, a mentor, a vision. I couldn’t have dreamed up service like this if heaven brought down servers and gave them to me at a nice restaurant. The timing was impeccable and Anika deserves a raise of at least 69% PER YEAR. This feels like it’s almost too much, but it’s not. If i met Anika in a dream, I’d wish it was real life.More infoDovetailPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Canadian• Yaletown•4.8
- AAntonVancouver / British Columbia •4 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoWe had the tasting menu. The braised lamb was outstanding. It would have been nice though to have something alongside it - a vegetable or something. We tried to order bread to soak up the delicious jus - the had sold out of their focaccia. They''d also sold out of the wine we wanted to order a bottle of. The starter of duck spring roll roll was good but not memorable. Nice ambience, quite busy and noidy especially for a Tuesday nightMore infoFable KitchenPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Kitsilano•4.6
