Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Chinatown

We had lunch here before a Saturday show, and it was a lovely experience. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the seating was comfortable. We started with hummus, which was mild and smooth and accompanied by the softest, most pillowy warm pitas ever. For our entrees, we had the beef pita sandwich, steak souvlaki, lamb chops, and the makaronia pasta. My son said that the lamb was tender and flavorful. My older son really enjoyed his sandwich, and my husband loved the souvlaki. The pasta was amazing, with a light but richly flavored sauce with briny pops from the capers contrasting with the earthy mushrooms and spinach.

Palio is one of favorite go-to’s in San Francisco. The wild boar ragu is absolutely delicious as is the Tuscan salad. The owner/host is warm and engaged in making sure the culinary experience is amazing.

We've been to several wonderful restaurants all over the world and Trestle is right up there with the "best of the best". The food was exquisite; the staff exceptional; and we had a wonderful time. My husband and I both had the four course tasting menu and we picked different times and tasted all of the courses. Each course was memorable. Trestle will definitely be on our "must do" list when we are next back in San Francisco.

I loved this lil Gem in the alley. Very cozy and well managed lil place. Highly recommend. Their name sounds kind of Latino but they have a nice variety of American Brunch items. My party had the eggs Benedict and the omelettes and everything was very delicious Only open for lunch until 2pm so go check it out and give them some business. Very sweet and attentive staff
