- MMarieNew Orleans / Louisiana •2 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoIt was a quiet Monday night so nice to find somewhere in Hastings open. Not too many people there but just enough for it to feel lively-ish. Staff were friendly and kind to our dog. Service very good. The food was delicious. There were 3 of us, 2 had the venison with trimmings, very flavoursome. The other had the ham and eggs which was also very good. Wine also nice.More infoThe Crown HastingsPrice: Moderate• British• Hastings•4.8
- KKirkKent •10 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe enjoyed a very nice roast dinner this afternoon, in fact my wife and I agreed it was the best we had had as we like to go for a roast at least one Sunday in the month. Unfortunately we didn’t do it justice as we had a prawn cocktail starter which was also very nice but filling. I’m sure we will return in the not too distant future.More infoHorse & GroomPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Heathfield•4.8
- CCarolineEast Sussex •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 27, 2024Wonderful food and excellent service in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Great for gluten free options. Fantastic value on Friday steak night - dessert and a small house wine/beer included in the price of your meal from the Grill menu. We love eating here, can’t wait to go again!More infoCallendersPrice: Moderate• British• Hailsham•4.7
- EMEmmaMEssex •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2020Had a fantastic meal! The vegan mushroom gnocchi was amazing - I’m not even vegan and it was yummy! Couldn’t tell it was vegan and all food being gluten free is fantastic as you don’t have to decide from a restricted menu what you want. It was so nice to be able to choose what I wanted off a great menu. Prices were reasonable for the food and the staff and their service was excellent. My only criticism, and I’m being really, really picky here, is that if I’m paying £30 for a bottle of wine (Sauvignon Blanc) then it would be nicer to drink it out of a nicer glass - they were a bit ‘Ikea’ ish - the rest of the crockery and glasses were fine and really well presented, it was just the glasses that was a slight let down (and I love a good wine glass!). Would absolutely go back!More infoNiche Gluten-free DiningPrice: Moderate• Contemporary European• Angel•4.4
