A Classic French Bistro in the heart of Edison Park has been a dream of Executive Chef and owner Joe Calabrese for several years. Joe was professionally trained at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park, New York. My friend and I had a fantastic experience at Daisies last night! I moved to Logan Square about four months ago and this restaurant came highly recommended by so many. The ravioli and the rigatoni were absolutely divine! So wonderful to have this gem just a few blocks away. Highly recommend!

Absolutely magnificent lunch. Delicious house made pate appetizer. Creamy melt in your mouth quiche with a bounty of salad that could have made a meal in itself. Make sure you save room for the chocolate pate dessert. This is the type of restaurant you wish you had in your own neighborhood so you could go there often. Even though it was a 30 minute ride from me, I’ll be back.

We lived in Italy for 5 years and lived the Neapolitan style pizza in Milano and Modena. Forno Rosso is #1 in Chicagoland and absolutely the best authentic Neapolitan style pizza we have had since moving back to the States 10 years ago.

This was our second time returning to Bloom for a birthday celebration. The food was amazing. The flavors are complex and wonderful, and the menu is innovating and creative. The only thing I would say is that the entrée portion was quite small. We were very satisfied for several hours, but then found ourselves hungry a few hours later. The chocolate mousse dessert made with avocado was an excellent way to top off a great dinner. Thanks Bloom! We will be back.
