- CCarolineCambridge/Cambridgeshire •1 review5.0Dined on Mar 2, 2025After our last experience at The Bull I swore never to return however it seems to have been completely turned around, I even asked if it had changed hands! The roasts are now served directly from the kitchen instead of in the restaurant area, which is much better than having to queue. The ambiance is relaxed and organised, compared to the chaos of our last visit. Prices are a little too high, but I had a children's roast at £9.50 which was more than sufficient. Well done The Bull, can't wait to return!More infoThe Old Bull InnPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Royston•4.2
- FFionaCambridge/Cambridgeshire •2 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 19, 2025Me & my daughter have been before (her verdict - “the best burgers in the country”!) but we wanted to take my husband to show him what all the fuss was about. So we decided to take him for lunch. We travelled the 45 mins to get there & were not disappointed! The service & the food was excellent! We all enjoyed our meals & will definitely be back again. We were sorry we didn’t get our waitress’s name but she was excellent - even accommodating our daughter’s fussy request for “burger & bun, nothing else, no green, just brown & beige!” As my husband said on the way home, “why isn’t this closer to our house so we can go more regularly?” Highly recommend this place! 5/5More infoKings ArmsPrice: Moderate• Pub• Stratford•4.5
- EMEmmaMEssex •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2020Had a fantastic meal! The vegan mushroom gnocchi was amazing - I’m not even vegan and it was yummy! Couldn’t tell it was vegan and all food being gluten free is fantastic as you don’t have to decide from a restricted menu what you want. It was so nice to be able to choose what I wanted off a great menu. Prices were reasonable for the food and the staff and their service was excellent. My only criticism, and I’m being really, really picky here, is that if I’m paying £30 for a bottle of wine (Sauvignon Blanc) then it would be nicer to drink it out of a nicer glass - they were a bit ‘Ikea’ ish - the rest of the crockery and glasses were fine and really well presented, it was just the glasses that was a slight let down (and I love a good wine glass!). Would absolutely go back!More infoNiche Gluten-free DiningPrice: Moderate• Contemporary European• Angel•4.4
