    Exceptional location, with amazing ambience. Table pre booked for Drinks only, my family and I so enjoyed this! It was a real treat. A Professional and Friendly team that were most accommodating. I will be back to Eat - I have fallen in love with ' The Nook on Five'! This is a must for any peron/family that need a treat and a reminder that we all need a little luxury from time to time!     We had lunch in the stag on a very busy day. All tables were full and we were allocated a table in the bar area. It was very comfortable and cosy apart from a draft from the windows (which you would expect in an old building, so it was no problem). The food was delicious and the service was good. I would definitely eat here again.

    Once again this restaurant fails to disappointment, fantastic tasting food, new flavours and food types. I'm not a cheese fan per sė bur the stinking bishop canapés were a delight. Eel was a revelation and to top it all, the wine selection was perfect, accompanying the food and also the food bringing the flavours of the wine to the fore. See you again in 2025 Alan and Ginny
