Seemed every meal was rushed as in if you ordered a steak dinner the steak would be burnt on the outside and cold on the inside and the sides that came with it would either be extremely hot or cold. The wait staff seemed rushed. Calabrese was a great combination of the way restaurants should be. The welcome from your staff was warm and professional. The waiter we had was very friendly and not rushed. He was very educated about what menu. And about what his job was. Everything came out as advertised and told to us. From the start to finish. Even Theo we weren’t rushed we were only there less than 2 hours with the valentines dinner menu. Most restaurants should offer menus on a regular basis to make the restaurant experience easier and less stress. We will definitely be back to Calabrese.More infoCalabrese SouthlakePrice: Expensive• Italian• Southlake•4.9

The food is the best Italian I have had outside of Italy. The pasta and pizza’s homemade. The meatballs are brisket. The bruschetta choices were delicious. I haven’t had anything off the menu that I wouldn’t have again and again. It’s a family favorite and we bring everyone here. Highly recommended. Valentines dinner was the best!More infoFioriPrice: Moderate• Italian• Flower Mound•4.2
- BbobDallas - Fort Worth •22 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoNice Valentine Lunch. All the food was very good. The starter came quickly Tempura Brussel Sprouts in two sauces, so good and a generous amount for two. We created our lunch own surf and turf. The Lobster Roll and the Thai Beef Salad. The Lobster Roll was very tasty, the roll was so fresh and full of lobster. There was a side of Cole slaw and Pom frittes. The salad had marinated steak strips cooked medium rare, the salad was a spicy mix of noodles, carrots, lettuce and a couple of other vegetables mixed in a spice vinegary sauce. All very nice and very good - if you like spicy which we do. Non drinkers we had the locally sourced sugar cane root beer. So good. We finished off with the apple fritters, with some honey and whipped cream. All in all a very nice lunch. The server was quick and checked back several times. We want to return to try the dinner menu.More infoPrime Farm to TablePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Flower Mound•4.7
