Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times. This is our 2nd visit to the Lowri and won’t be our last! We had the Sunday lunch menu which was just perfect. Starters of smoked salmon and Caesar salad were so good. Then 3 of us had the roast beef, which, in our opinion, was exceptional! One of our party asked for her beef to be well done (very well done)! And this was done to perfection. The other guest had the cod which was equally delicious. Deserts were 3 sticky toffee puddings and 1 cheesecake, not a crumb was left! Our server was only 3 week into her post and was so engaging, professional and helpful- a credit to the team. Definitely recommend the Lowri Sunday lunch and will most certainly be going back.
