Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Design District

While visiting Miami with my husband and daughter, I wanted to show them this building which was once a cool but rundown apartment building known as the Amsterdam in the 1980s, when I lived there - before Gianni Versace bought it and turned it into his home. It took me back in time as the entry and lobby is still very much the same, and the walkway to the dining area, which was approx where the door to apt 106 once was. Being there brought back some great memories. The dining area was once another building which GV knocked down to make room for his patio and pool, behind which stands a beautiful, somewhat ostentatious, mosaic tiled wall which fortunately did not cross the line into gaudiness.

Amazing spot and great food. The wild boar ragú pasta was a bit salty. The spicy lobster capellini was amazing. We also tried the octopus agridulce that’s definitely a must you want to try. Parking is a little tough there’s valet but 2 out of the 3 stations said they were full. Ambiance is magnificent and the service was good at first but then our server left and I was waiting for a beer for so long that decided to not have it at the end- it never got to the table The place is beautiful and perfect music volume to have nice conversation.

We went for an office holiday party. The service was impeccable. The food was beautifully presented. The butterfly dessert was a piece of art: They had gluten-free bread rolls and ice cream. This delighted one person in our group.

Was my bd celebration. The setting is just stunning/magical. The waitress was outstanding. The food was delicious and presentation was gorgeous. DJ added to the ambiance and the little show was a great touch.

Great experience overall but the food and the service were the standouts. A little on the pricier side but other than that, really enjoyed our dinner experience. Will definitely be back.
