Best Gluten Free Restaurants in University Heights

The service, food, and entertainment was amazing. It was definitely worth the visit. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We enjoyed the Jazz on Sunday evening, the lead singer came over and thanked each of her guests, I was even part of the back up dancers- Rolling on the river Tina Turner, it was so much fun. It was a whole vibe.

We have dined here many times and the food is usually excellent. This time was not the case. I had to return my burger as it was definitely overcooked. My friend ordered the cob salad and the chicken was also overcooked and the salad overdressed. Since this is an unusual occurrence, I would return with the thought this was a one off. The service was excellent as usual and when my burger was replaced it was excellent.

Le Monde, a long-time resident of Morningside Heights, was full of festivity and rich, French food on Christmas. The pinot noir was top-notch. My guy had escargot, followed by a duck main course, and I had the salmon over spinach with a sauce I can't remember before we shared a chocolate mousse. We're glad we went early, because a lot of time for digestion was required. Our only criticism was that the guitar-player who sang wonderful tunes, mostly in French, was amplified, and we could barely hear each other. Minus the amplification, this would have been a plus, and I'm sure it was only for the holiday. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and we'd do it again.

The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the pairing of flavors was both innovative and harmonious. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the evening even more enjoyable. Food is excellent. Great location on Arthur Ave in the heart of that neighborhood. Staff friendly and hospitable. Pleasant ambiance. A winner every time.
