- NNelsonSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined todayVisited for our 10 year anniversary and had a wonderful time. Our server was very knowledgeable of wine, food, and they added to the overall fine dinning experience. I would highly reccomened Mr. A's and we'll definitely be going back.More infoMister A'sPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Downtown•4.9

Service (Lelani?) was excellent. And really, i expected it to be all great for the prices they charge. And they really delivered.More infoAnimaePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Asian• Downtown•4.8
- JJoAnnvipSan Diego •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoUnmatched hospitality! The server was knowledgeable about the food and able to describe them well. We didn’t have great luck with the clams, they were very chewy & overcooked but the broth was delicious. They took it back and a sweet manager, (I’m forgetting names) sent a hamachi that was to die for! Everything else that hit the table was delicious and we were very impressed. The bubbly and celebration desert was super appreciated as well. Honestly made my birthday dinner feel extra special, some places really don’t go the extra mile but they sure know how to impress.More infoHerb & WoodPrice: Expensive• Californian• Little Italy•4.7
- FFionaSan Diego •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe ordered the cauliflower appetizer to share and it was delicious I wasn’t a fan of the cheese (mixed on)I believe it was a feta but not sure. Everyone else liked it. I had the duck entree and requested it cooked medium well and it was perfect! The bananas foster is killer good as is the crème brûlée!!!More infoThe Smoking Goat RestaurantPrice: Moderate• French American• North Park•4.8
- NNataliavipSan Diego •21 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 19, 2024What can I say? This is easily one of the best happy hour spots in San Diego! The ambiance is stunning, the service is outstanding, and the food is absolutely incredible. We had yet another fantastic experience here, this time for an early dinner to celebrate my kid’s birthday. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the Japanese sweet potatoes are a must-try, the fish and chips were amazing—so fresh and moist—and the clam chowder was perfection. The smoked trout dip wasn’t my favorite this time, but it was still a solid appetizer. Our server, Mike, was exceptional—attentive, polite, and spot-on with his food recommendations. We’ll definitely be back, and if you’ve never been to this place, make a reservation now. You can thank me later!More infoIronside Fish & OysterPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Little Italy•4.4
