    Had dinner here 2 years ago and loved it, so had to come back tonight, January 22 since we were back in the area for golf. Sure enough it did not disappoint. Still my favorite restaurant in the area! Great menu and wonderful staff! Definitely a do not miss if you are in town!

    We visit the Palm Desert area at least twice a year. We discovered Mimmo’s about 10 years ago and when in town make our way there for a delicious meal every time. Even our kids and the friends who have with us love their meal. The food is amazing, the hospitality from the time one walks in, being welcomed by the owner, our favorite waiter, Joey, and all the staff in their detailed service makes this a favorite spot for us when we are in the area. The flavors and the options available since I am gluten free, are delectable! We highly recommend a visit! I can assure you will be back.

    One of our best meals ever! And we dine regularly at top restaurants in Napa Valley, LA, Orange County, San Diego, Paris, London, etc. I just kept making yummy noises. The French Onion soup perhaps best we've ever had. Even butter lettuce salad with tomatoes/endive and Tarragon dressing was outstanding. My Beef Bourguignon amazing, and my husband's Duck a'la orange perfectly cooked. Profiteroles for dessert had the most amazing chocolate sauce. Don't let the strip mall location nor sign missing lights on some letters dissuade you from coming here for a fabulous dinner. How packed they were (but still warm attentive greeting and service) and overflowing into not-as-scenic outer spaces, clearly a testament to how much people love their food. Can't wait to go back!
