Vancouver Now Has Its Very-Own Georgian Restaurant!Dediko, owned by a mother-son team, serves the country’s famous stuffed breads and dumplings out of a cheery Evergreen Boulevard cafe. Dediko’s menu is stacked with the classics of that region, with a number of different khachapuri, soup-filled dumplings called khinkali, walnut-heavy vegetable dishes called phkali, and various grilled meats called mtsvadi. Also coming from the grill, Dediko’s kababi consists of a kebab-like grilled ground chicken patty with Georgian spices, folded in a roll of lavash flatbread. We were impressed by dishes with balanced and beautifully flavored elements. We don't go out to eat often because we cook and are disappointed when we can do far better. DEDIKo definitely made us wanting to come back to try more dishes. Amazing! If I could give any feedback for improvement, it would be that our indoor seating was a little bit chilly, but not sure if that can be easily fixed. If not, we are still impressed and we understand.

The food is good. The carrot cake is ginormous! It can feed 4 people. We lived it. Like to sit in the lounge, listen to the music and relax.
