- WWayneVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •687 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoStill the best deal in all of San Francisc and BEYOND!! Combined with great mixology by head barkeep Shar and veteran William, our hard working server, it’s hard to beat the mouth watering, juicy cuts of prime rib, cut and served right out of those silver carts by a master chef. There really is no restaurant that even comes close to this historic and iconic institution …….really HoPR is Numero Uno in California!!More infoHouse of Prime RibPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.9

- DDanielVIPOrange County •7 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 28, 2024The restaurant’s ambiance is that of a classy restaurant. The upstairs has a bar area that has a great view of the bay. The bar itself is very upscale and elegant. The downstairs dining room is elegant and inviting. Glass windows from floor to ceiling allow great natural light. The food was very good. The poke bowl was fresh and had a nice combination of tuna and fresh veggies on a bed of rice. Try their homemade hot sauce with it. The Caesar salad was fresh with anchovies included. The salmon was added to the Caesar and was cooked very well. Not dry, as it can be. Overall, a great spot for lunch. They’re open Tuedays and Thursdays for happy hour 3-7, however, not for dinner. Probably as it is in a business district.More infoThe AnecdotePrice: Moderate• American• South San Francisco•4.4
