- JJames F.Asheville / Western North Carolina •16 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoIt's always a pleasant experience to eat at Glass Onion. You are greeted like a long lost friend, guided politely to a waiting table and treated like a most welcome guest. The food is always excellent, the service is top notch and the garlic rolls to die for. We almost always have leftovers too. That means we get to relive the pleasant experience at home on another evening. You won't go wrong if you book a dinner at Glass Onion. It's reliably marvelous.More infoGlass Onion - Weaverville, NCPrice: Expensive• Italian• Asheville•4.9
- LLisaAsheville / Western North Carolina •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a wonderful early dinner on 1/4/25 prior to our Candlelight Christmas tour. I started with the she crab soup which was delicious with a peppery finish at the end of eat bite. I followed with the beet and burratta salad and the star of the show, the crispy Brussels. My daughter and husband both had the lamb. It was not sliced as they thought it would be but rather shredded. It was good but not overwhelming. Service was wonderful. I wish I could remember the young lady's name. She was attentive but not intrusive. Overall a lovely experience and we would return.More infoVillage Social-Biltmore EstatePrice: Expensive• Southern• Asheville•4.6
- TTyVIPAsheville / Western North Carolina •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe loved our meal today at the Blue Ridge! Had a beautiful window seat to enjoy the view and our waiter Derrick was attentive and helpful. There wasn’t any fruit on the menu today but he went to the kitchen and brought a small plate to accompany my salad. He was present when needed without hovering and out drink and coffee stayed full without asking. Food quality and selection always spot on, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience today to start off the new year! - JJamesVIPCincinnati / Dayton •12 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 29, 2024We had an excellent dinner at Rye Knot! Our group of five included two people who eat gluten-free, and we were pleasantly surprised by the number of options available – way more than their website or Yelp lets on. If you’re gluten intolerant, this place is a hidden gem with tons of choices. We’re always on the lookout for spots north of Asheville, and Rye Knot was a great new find. My wife ordered a gluten-free Reuben with gluten-free fries, and my daughter had a gluten-free sandwich. The rest of us enjoyed the fish and chips, a filet, and the meatloaf – everything was delicious. Portions were generous, leaning on the larger side, which we appreciated. The drink menu is extensive, with lots of beer and cocktail options. Every bar order we tried was excellent. While they seemed a little short-staffed, the service didn’t skip a beat. The manager, chef, and bartender all pitched in to help serve, and it really showed – we didn’t experience any delays. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a laid-back, unpretentious, and slightly military-inspired vibe. Rye Knot is definitely on our list of places to return to. Highly recommend!More infoRye KnotPrice: Moderate• American• Asheville•4.6
- JJillianAsheville / Western North Carolina •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 26, 2024Five of us celebrated Boxing Day at Posana and had a wonderful meal. Two members of our group are gluten intolerant and Posana provides a safe environment for them to eat without having to review every ingredient. It is also exemplary to have every option available to them without having to take a salad or the only protein based option. Kudos to the team for making us feel so welcome and a special thankyou to Teline (spelling?) for tolerating our English traditions.More infoPosanaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Asheville•4.7
