General Public is inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie (and was open 11 to 11). It’s also going to signal a little bit of steakhouse, but not too much. And finally, it will look behind itself at the Black Hoof, which you will see reflected in James Santon’s menu here and there. In terms of vibe, the main floor is ‘everything’s gone green’, with lush comfortable banquette seating, warm wood, and barstools designed for long conversations over many cocktails. Upstairs you’ll find a completely different space that transports you to a peachy 80s dream.     I had an amazing experience at Maxime’s! The food was absolutely delicious, the petit wagyu burgers were so tender and flavorful, they practically melted in your mouth. The drinks were just as impressive, with a fantastic selection of cocktails. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from start to finish. They even brought out a candle for my boyfriend’s birthday, which made the night even more special. 10/10 recommend!

    Great dining experience staff was so friendly went on Monday which is happy hour so oysters were a steal at $2 a pop and they were amazing. Lus Basicly half prices drinks all night. Highly recommend, the food was very good not top tier but very good. And the mains are fairly priced but maybe a bit bigger portions for the price. But all in all it was great experience highly recommend.
