Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Central Business District

This is a very nice bistro in a great location on Cincinnati's Fountain Square. Don't miss the eggplant appetizer...might just be the best app in town!

Our first visit to Shire’s did not disappoint! Beautiful restaurant with great views! Katrina took very good care of our party of six. Chef does an excellent job creating unique flavor profiles. Tried the fried green tomato, beef Wellington and mussels appetizers. All were perfectly prepared and delicious! Our entrees included the pork chop, salmon, shrimp & scallops, and chicken roulade. Again all dishes were delicious!! The only negative was the chicken was a little dry and could have used a sauce to help with that; but the pea risotto that accompanied it was very tasty. The pear mocktail was lovely too!! Perfect place for special occasion dinner!!!

We had amazing customer service from the waiter and the manager. There was a small issue with an entree and the staff went above what would be expected to resolve the concern. We will be back soon! Always a great experience.

Chris, gave perfect service and recommendations, and fierce fashion i might add. Agree with all other teco of corn ribs and lobster shots. I could have 5 of those shots. Corn was perfectly seasoned. We had 3 sushi rolls all delish. Tuna crunch #1, then the lobster tuna sriracha, then rainbow roll. All still delish and very fresh. Higher priced than some sushi around but worth it. I would highly recommend.

Very good except we requested a high top table and they sat us at a low top.
