Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Downtown / LoDo

A fabulous restaurant ! Second time here. We are not typically steak house folks, but if we’re gonna go for it, this is the place. Wonderful, attentive service, and the food is outstanding. Great selection of oysters, everything is lovely. Would definitely reccomend! Not an inexpensive meal, but worth the splurge/also you can totally get lots of delicious things without spending a fortune if you try.

What a great new restaurant! The main dining room was warm and the tables weren't crowded together like you find in some Denver restaurants.The artwork gives it a funky vibe, with the entire text of "The Art of War" being hand written on the walls and ceiling. The menu was diverse but very well thought out, not too exotic. The braided ravioli was outstanding (I got it with the sausage), and my partner loved his lamb burger. The special appetizer slider was very tasty as well. Drinks were good and not too expensive. Overall 5 stars! We'll be back for brunch.

The food, especially the salads, was very good. The service was terrific. It was very nosy bar the bar sheets we were seated. The 22%gratuity that was added to the bill was a surprise. My biggest disappointment was the priciness of the food. It was markedly overpriced for what it was. It world have been better to serve less and charge less.

I made a reservation at 7:30 and our table was not ready until 8:00 p.m. they made us wait downstairs. This was on a Thursday night. The food was great the service was good the music was a bit loud but overall a good experience

My son and his girlfriend treated me for My birthday. He wanted to try just about everything. We ordered a Rioja salad which I loved and we ordered 1/2 orders of the pastas just to try them all. The 2 favorites were the pappardelle with pork and the artichoke tortelloni. We ordered the bacon wrapped cod, the braised short rib (my favorite) and the octopus which was soft and cooked to perfection as entrees. Dessert was a butterscotch buddino and the chocolate citrus mousse. All was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. Super friendly staff as well and very attentive. Would highly recommend giving Rioja a try.
