- SStephenVIPSan Diego •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe great news: service was excellent, food spot on. We had bread (must have), beets, and a charcuterie plate to start, which was plenty for four of us. All was excellent, but the charcuterie was the standout: perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and even came with notes so you knew what you were eating. For dinner, we had filet mignon, wagyu skirts, and a ribeye. All were superb and cooked exactly to specification. Desserts and drinks were also very good. The less fabulous: We asked for a quiet corner since it is a busy and crowded spot, and while we were in a corner of the private room in the back, so was a loud party of 6 or 8. We asked if they could do something, but nothing was done. Parking: Even at 5:30 on a Sunday, it was not easy to find a spot close by.. If there'd been valet, we'd have definitely used it. All in all, we'd do it again for a special occasion. The manager did listen to our noise issue, and acknowledged it impacted our experience tonight, so I don't expect it to happen againMore infoCowboy StarPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.9

We were a tad skeptical with the options of apps and sides but absolutely everything was top notch and we loved our dining experience. - LLizSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 27, 2024Today, my family of 12 celebrated Christmas dinner a day late at Fogo de Chão, and I felt compelled to share our wonderful experience. While several staff members assisted us throughout the evening, one exceptional individual truly stood out: Monica. Monica was more than just a waitress—she was an absolute gem. Her kindness and patience made us feel like we were guests in her own home. She interacted with us in such a genuine and thoughtful way, going above and beyond to ensure our evening was memorable. At one point, we asked if she could take a group photo for us. Not only did she gladly agree, but she first took the initiative to clear our plates, ensuring everything looked perfect. She then patiently took photos of us in multiple spots around the restaurant, making sure we had options to choose from. As a business owner myself, I can confidently say Monica exemplifies the ideal employee—someone who goes the extra mile with a smile and treats every guest with care and respect. Her dedication and warmth deserve recognition, and I sincerely hope her efforts don’t go unnoticed. Thank you, Monica, for making our family gathering even more special. You’re a beautiful soul, and a true credit to Fogo de Chão!More infoFogo de Chao - San DiegoPrice: Moderate• Brazilian• Downtown•4.2
