Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Gilbert

We first visited North Italia when it initially opened and we weren't impressed. Obviously they were still experiencing all of the challenges associated with a new biz. This time we tried it for Christmas Eve dinner, which would really illustrate any glaring problems, if there were any. Everything was running smoothly. The restaurant was very busy but tables were turning over swiftly and efficiently. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. My husband had the squid ink pasta with seafood, which is a favorite dish of his. He said it was one of the best he ever had. I had the pork Milanese. I was so happy to see that it was a real pork cutlet, not a frozen patty that many restaurants use. It was topped with a very generous portion of prosciutto. The flavor was wonderful. We also started with the carpaccio, which was perfect for sharing and came with two large yummy pieces of grilled bread. We will definitely frequent North Italia more often now.

The Keg has always been our go to Christmas Eve dinner tradition since moving to Arizona in 2015. This year our service was amazing however our waitress didn’t seem as enthusiastic as previous servers . Do not get me wrong she was very attentive , spaced out food properly and never left a glass unfilled . She served the 20% plus tip we left . Our food was amazing as usual and whoever was on the line cooking the steaks tonight cooked each one perfectly . We will be back in 2025 !

We had a wonderful experience at Firebirds in Gilbert. It was a busy night since it was Christmas Eve Eve and they honored our reservation. They got us to our table right away and we had excellent service from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything that we ate, we loved. We will be back soon.

It was our second year back at Bar Blitzen and love all of the decorations! Our only critique is we had a reservation at 4PM and they weren’t ready to open yet.. The reservations are limited but the place is rarely full from when we’ve been there. But very festive, great drinks and great vibes! We will be back next year to get in the Christmas Spirit.

Always have a great experience at Cooper’s Hawk. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and helpful! Food has always been delicious. Overall it’s a great place for date night, celebrations and even a friendly get together.
