Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Keyport

We went for Thanksgiving dinner. Disappointed that it was 'deli' turkey, and not carved off the bird. Also disappointed with the little dollop of whipped cream on the pumpkin pie. The sides were delicious, especially the mashed potatoes. I also enjoyed the seasonal drink - Midnight Harvest. Our server Matt was the best.

For Central Jersey, this was without doubt the finest meal I ever ate, in a relaxed intimate atmoshpere and all reasonably priced too. Our waiter John, was most attentive and also helped in making a great wine selection. My partner and I often go into New York City and we also loved the option to enjoy a "Pre Fixe" dinner, as we do before B'way shows. We are already considering our dining time for Christmas day and have newlywed neighbors, anxious to come with us. The GOAT will definetly be our "go to" dining experience when we want great food in an upscale setting, without the NYC prices. The River Cafe is my favorite restaurant in New York, and probably anywhere else too! The beautiful romantic atmosphere, amazing views, warm yet attentive service and truly exquisite food make for a perfect experience. It is a special occasion place, not for everyday, but we have celebrated our anniversary there several times (when in the city - we do not live in NYC), and this time it was our 50th. They did not disappoint! I hope I get to go back for many more special occasions. We took our adult son with us and he loved it as well.

We planned to have a late lunch here after we walked over the Brooklyn Bridge. It was so good. We were a bit full from our amazing lunch that we were happy to walk the bridge back.

Excellent food; shrimp, lobster risotto, A Salute salad! Entrees were delicious ( ravioli, ragu, salmon, rigatoni with shrimp,) Wonderful experience!
