Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Little Italy / University Village

As a vegetarian, probably the best mexican meal I’ve ever had. The sweet potato tacos were delicious! I recommend getting a side or two because they weren’t that filling. Service a little slow but the food came out very quick. We ate her before a show at The Chicago Theater. Very noisy ambience though. It was very distracting and jarring for such a calm vibey atmosphere. I think it’s the best restaurant decor I’ve ever seen. Felt like I was living in an instagram picture. Overall I recommend this place and would love to try more of their food!

West Loop is a culinary gem that truly stands out in Chicago's vibrant dining scene. I recently visited this lively spot and was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the atmosphere. The highlight of my meal was the truffle pizza. It was an absolute delight! The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside and beautifully soft on the inside. The generous amount of truffle, combined with the creamy cheese and aromatic toppings, created a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. Each bite was a luxurious experience that left me craving more. The ambiance at Bar Siena is equally impressive. The restaurant boasts a chic and modern design with a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends or celebrate a special occasion. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Overall, Bar Siena in West Loop exceeded my expectations in every way. The truffle pizza alone is worth a visit, but the entire dining experience makes it a must-try destination in Chicago. Highly recommended!

Took my husband for his birthday and wasn’t able to get in the dining room as no reservations available for my timeframe. Was worried about the ‘bar’ area but it was very nice as well. Beautiful place with great service and we loved every item we ordered. My husband loved it.

Food was excellent! Scott was a very attentive server! Both Scott and his colleague Andrew Spence (who seated us and made great wine suggestions), were highly knowledgeable about the menu and we enjoyed speaking with them. It was a lovely evening and we’d definitely return. The truffle gnocchi, meatball appetizer, salmon, scallops, and filet were all outstanding!
